Teslas for everyone….except Tom. This holiday season there is much excitement in the Talking Tesla studio. All three of the guys are in-studio, and they are feeling merry. Lots of news this week, not least of which is the secret code to make your Tesla dance!

Another week, so much to discuss! Robert is on a road trip in the south-west with his family, so he skips into the studio, and tells us about his trip. 

Mel is buying everyone a Model 3 - the day he becomes a billionaire. Meanwhile, the guys get into this weeks EV news, including news about the Chrysler Plug-in Hybrid Minivan, Samsung to make Tesla self-driving chips, Superchargers, and the Future Faraday drag-race with the Model X.

We bring you a much more upbeat Talking Tesla this week! Robert is fresh from the Tesla Motors Club LA brunch, and he comes bearing gifts. There is some great news this week in Tesla Nation - the Model X now has a 5 seat option - and they fold! Toyota have made announcements which sound like they are about to get real with EV’s. Model S Beats the RANGE Gauge, Mercedes is planning an $11 billion investment for in EV's, and there are reasons to believe that Apple is making an Autonomous car?!

The guys do their best to get all of the bad news out of the way quickly this week, so they can move on to the good stuff. Unfortunately with the recent announcement of Myron Ebell heading the EPA transition team, the vandalized supercharger incident in Barstow, and the disinformation campaigns about Elon Musk, it takes a little longer than planned.

Another week of Tesla news & renewable energy discussions with the guys! This week they discuss the Tesla/Solar City merger. Elon had a lot to say about the effect of a potential pullback of subsidies.

The guys find themselves reeling from the past week. There is discussion about what the next administration could mean for energy and renewables, and specifically for Tesla. 

Yesterday was Mel's Birthday. And today is election day! Tom and Robert do their best to alleviate Mel's concerns. They talk the Solarcity/Tesla merger call, the model 3's big hole, the Bolt, Elon's Twitter storm and so much more. 

Following last week's big Solarcity event, the guys get together and discuss their thoughts on the solar roof tiles.

FULL AUTONOMY! We waited for Elon's announcement today, and we are glad we did. Mel, Tom and Robert bring you the usual fun, plus their reactions to the big news.

This weeks Talking Tesla comes to you directly from Mel's studio - where all the guys are located! We bring you a new segment called "Going Zero", in which Mel explores how much energy his company uses, and attempts to find a way to go carbon neutral. 

Mel, Tom and Robert are all in back in LA in the studio this week and they are talking MARS. Much discussion ensues about Elon's announcement of his plans to colonize Mars.

UPDATE 8.0 has landed and the guys are excited. They also talk autonomous driving, renewables and Space X. 

We are all waiting for 8.0 to land! Tom is away (again) this week - so he skypes in from Florida. It turns out, though, that perhaps Tom was right about some things last week!? Robert went to the Alt Car Expo - an EV and renewables event in Santa Monica. He fills us in on the details. Mel made some youtube videos this week about his Model X doors
